Design and Development of a Toolkit, Targeted Consultation, Governance Manual, and Training Workshops for Peru’s Green Finance Taxonomy

The project involved implementing a pilot program on common taxonomies and governance in Peru as part of a broader regional initiative supported by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and implemented by the Gold Standard Foundation. The pilot’s objective was to contribute to the implementation of Peru’s Green Finance Taxonomy while promoting regional alignment with the Pacific Alliance countries and Ecuador.

Planisphera led the design and testing of a Toolkit: a comprehensive package of documents, procedures, and resources aimed at strengthening user capacities, reducing information gaps regarding private sector climate finance, and enhancing regulator involvement in monitoring financial flows.

Regional experiences were leveraged to ensure interoperability and shared learning. The Planisphera team also closely coordinated knowledge exchanges regarding taxonomy development in Ecuador, ensuring consistency and mutual reinforcement between the countries.
